A very impressive and exceptionally large curated collection of no fewer than 204 Brutalist vases and sculptural metal design objects from the Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, and European Modernist design periods.
This collection has been carefully assembled over many years and consists largely of stainless steel, supplemented with objects made of aluminum, brass, and copper. The collection includes pieces by BMF and Etienne Aigner, among others, alongside various rare and hard-to-find Brutalist designs from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
The collection is characterized by:
– sculptural and architectural forms
– industrial and Brutalist textures
– hammered metal and cast structures
– geometric and organic designs
– strong influences of Brutalism, Space Age, and Mid-Century Modern design
This is emphatically not a random collection of decorations, but a visually powerful and cohesive design collection with gallery, installation, and interior value. Due to its size, consistency, and appearance, this collection is particularly interesting for collectors, gallery owners, interior architects, hospitality projects, concept stores, or design dealers. The collection includes, among others:
– large floor vases
– table decorations and centerpiece objects
– sculptural statement pieces
– Brutalist design objects
– oversized metal art objects
Condition: Generally in good vintage condition with normal signs of use and age appropriate for vintage design objects. See photos for a good impression of the size, variety, and condition of the collection.
Important: Due to the size, weight, and fragility, pick-up is preferred. However, I am happy to work with a transporter or courier service organized by the buyer. The collection will be carefully, professionally, and securely packed and prepared for transport.
