W.B. Feldweg:
He was a German industrial designer.
Product designer, university professor, and art historian.
Founder of the Chair of Industrial Design at the Berlin Academy of Fine Arts (HfbK Berlin) and author.
Professor Wilhelm Braun-Feldweg (1908–1998) not only designed and taught, but also observed, reflected, and wrote.
This approach is, in fact, the basis for the bf Prize, which today perpetuates Wilhelm Braun-Feldweg's intellectual (written) legacy.
Wilhelm Braun-Feldweg's written legacy was transferred to the archives of the Berlin Academy of Fine Arts in 2019. The Museum of Applied Arts in Frankfurt am Main acquired the objects in 2023 with the support of the German States Cultural Foundation.
