Peill & Putzler Table Lamp with Internal Lighting – West German Design
This exceptional table lamp thrives on the captivating interplay of form, color, and light. A distinctive feature is the additional internal lighting, which illuminates the bulbous lamp body from within, creating an intense, almost sculptural effect.
The vibrant red body is elegantly grounded by the metal base. When switched on, an impressive color gradient is created, subtly enhancing the atmosphere of the room. The newly crafted, tall, cylindrical lampshade from Roomlight Studio, featuring a graphic pattern in warm tones, provides a striking contrast and filters the light into a pleasantly soft hue.
This lamp is a prime example of high-quality lighting design from the 1960s and 70s: functional, experimental, and simultaneously a decorative object.
