The Northern Acorn matte grey is a recognizable designer pendant lamp from the Norwegian brand Northern (formerly Northern Lighting), designed by Swedish designer Atle Tveit. The design is directly inspired by the organic shape of an acorn, which is clearly reflected in the flowing shade that tapers towards the stem. The combination of sleek industrial aluminium and a warm wooden detail at the top gives this lamp its distinctive Scandinavian character.
The aluminium shade of the Northern Acorn matte grey is finished with a silky-smooth, matte powder coating in a deep, minimalist grey tone. The inside of the shade is painted white, ensuring optimal and even light reflection straight down.
