This rare KÄMPE shelving set was designed in 1997 by the renowned Swedish-Danish designer Niels Gammelgaard for IKEA and is one of the most striking examples of Scandinavian postmodernism from the late 1990s.
The set consists of:
* 1 × rare sculptural KÄMPE wall shelf
* 1 × original KÄMPE triple shelf
Made of dyed-through polypropylene (PP) in the original red finish. The material gives the shelves their characteristic sculptural form and the combination of lightness, stability, and three-dimensional presence typical of the KÄMPE series.
Both shelves are finished in the sought-after original red and feature their original IKEA logos.

This sculptural wall shelf is particularly rare and differs significantly from the more common modular KÄMPE shelves. Together, the two pieces form an impressive architectural composition that is both a functional storage solution and a striking design object.
