Initially Rozemeijer makes monumental works from clay and later objects and installations from wood, metal and cement. In addition, she has always drawn and painted and, just like with her images, she knows how to evoke a special atmosphere. People, animal patterns or buildings, nothing special really. The visual outside world influences her inner world and returns to the canvas mixed. In recent years, Nicola Rozemeijer has been particularly fascinated by spaces, buildings and reflections. Recognizable things but not an exact representation of reality. There is room for association and assigning meaning, each from their own memory or view.
Nicola Rozemeijer has exhibited in countless places. She has received a stipend several times and her work is included in various private and corporate collections.
