The Charles Corner Sofa is a tribute from B&B Italia and Antonio Citterio to Charles Eames. Citterio, himself a world-renowned designer, designed the Charles sofa in 1997. It is a tribute to the design of the 1950s and 1960s. It is therefore named after one of the most important representatives of the design world of those two decades: Charles Eames. The reference to bygone eras yet timeless design is clearly visible in the light, elegant, and simple appearance of the sofa. The iconic design of the Charles sofa has been a reference model in the design world since its introduction. It is characterized above all by its timeless elegance, which transcends current trends. The Charles corner sofa is suitable for modern and classic interiors and offers a high degree of comfort and flexibility. The sofa frame is made of steel tubes and steel profiles, upholstered with Bayfit® polyurethane foam. The seat cushions are made of molded polyurethane of varying densities, sterilized down, and polyester fibers. This, along with the five loose back cushions, makes the Charles sofa not only a style classic but also a truly comfortable sofa for relaxing hours.
