Beautiful Hand-knotted wool NEPALESE/Kathmandu “Kangri” Design Rug (281 x 246 cm) with CERTIFICATE (1988) in excellent condition.
This rug combines traditional craftsmanship with a timeless, soothing design that fits perfectly in both classic and modern interiors.
Unique features and provenance:
Comes with the original certificate of authenticity from December 1988. On the back, there is still the original import label with registration number (C / 81001 / BF/258 / 000027). This guarantees the authenticity and high-quality provenance of this piece.
Design and material:
The rug is made of 100% thick, pure virgin wool. The base has a warm, neutral sand/beige tint. The corners are decorated with refined, traditional floral and wheel motifs in soft pastel colors (terracotta, green, soft pink, camel, warm cream). The center is accentuated by a wide, stylish band in a grey-pink shade. The short sides are finished with the original, continuous wool fringes.
Thanks to the thick pile, it feels wonderfully soft and warm.

Carpet condition:
