"Neo-Baroque" Sofa, Fiberglass / Acrylic Glass, Acrila, 2009 – France. Spectacular sofa designed by Acrila, a French firm known for its contemporary acrylic glass furniture. In their creations, form, image, transparency, and light are masterfully combined. They represent the perfect fusion of tradition and modernity, as their creations are truly avant-garde stylizations of past styles, but in a completely modern material. In this case, a two-seater sofa that, taking advantage of the transparency of the material, imitates the structure of a baroque sofa, with the backrest "upholstered" in gray and black brocade or damask. This motif also extends to the legs. The removable seat is upholstered in black leather, enhancing the sophistication of the piece.
