Timeless craftsmanship in vibrant cobalt blue.
This refined centerpiece captures the essence of Murano glassmaking at its peak. Exceptionally lightweight with a paper-thin wall, the piece embodies the clean, formal aesthetic of the great Murano tradition of the 1950s — heir to the formal language inaugurated by Vittorio Zecchin for Venini.
Design
The corolla shape opens from a ribbed central base, creating a dynamic play of light and reflections. The deeply saturated cobalt blue becomes a focal point in any setting, whether classic or contemporary.
Quality & Authenticity
Authentic mouth-blown glass. The handcrafted nature is evidenced by the presence of fine micro-bubbles within the glass and by the ground pontil mark on the underside. The absence of a maker's mark is consistent with the production standards of the era, when pieces were typically identified only by paper labels, long since removed.
Condition
Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. The glass retains its full original brilliance and transparency.
