A beautiful and substantial example of an authentic Murano Art Scavo Torchie table lamp from the 1980s. This sculptural lamp is an iconic example of Italian glass art design and is in excellent vintage condition.
• Technique: Crafted using the unique "Scavo" technique, which gives the glass a matte, layered texture inspired by antique excavated glassware.
• Design: Elegant, asymmetrical chalice shape that offers a different silhouette from every angle. The glass contains the characteristic air bubbles associated with high-quality craftsmanship.
• Authenticity: The underside features a clear pontil mark (the scar of the glassblower's pipe), evidence of a completely hand-blown process in a Murano kiln.
• Size: At a remarkable 44 cm tall, this is a rare, large model that will immediately draw attention in any interior.
• Light Output: Thanks to the Scavo finish, the lamp provides a beautiful, warm, and diffused ambient light.
