Extraordinary Murano glass chandelier from the Flora collection, created by Sylcom, a historic Venetian brand known for the quality of its craftsmanship. Sylcom's Flora collection stands out for its "organic forms" and floral details. They evoke the delicacy of flowers, and the colors often range from ice to amber.
The lamp:
The lamp's glass shade features a large wavy lampshade, made of clear glass with yellow hues, touches of gold/orange, and hints of amber. The soft, irregular waves of the glass, achieved through freehand modeling, create a sense of movement, as if the glass itself were fluid. The reflections change appearance depending on the light, lending the lamp a vitality and uniqueness.
The frame and central body are made of gold-plated iron.
At the center, supported by two arched stems, is a refined blown glass element in an elongated oval shape.
Small amber glass details are inserted at the upper and lower ends of the oval shape, adding a further touch of color.
This lamp is crafted using the ancient mouth-blowing technique. Glassmakers manually shape the still-hot glass, imparting movement and irregularities to the material, making each piece unique and unrepeatable. The colors are added directly during the melting process using natural minerals and gold leaf, thus creating the plays of light and color typical of authentic Murano glass.
