Top Set of 3 Vintage Murano Tutti Frutti Bowls – Incl. 2 Large Models (610g & 511g)
1950s, an exceptionally beautiful, varied, and heavy set of three hand-blown vintage art glass bowls (vide poches / ashtrays) from Murano, Italy.
Made in the iconic "Tutti Frutti" / Oriente style, a world-famous design attributed to Dino Martens for the A.Ve.M. (Arte Vetraria Muranese) glassworks, circa 1950s. This is not a standard set; the collection includes two rarer, large, and extra-heavy models.
Each object features an organically undulating free form and is very richly filled with fused murrine (eyelets), intricate zanfirico mesh threads, and a brilliant layer of shimmering aventurine (silver foil) that beautifully reflects the light. Specifications Per Bowl: Large Multicolor 'Eye' Model (Heaviest Masterpiece): Beautiful, very dense structure with highly detailed murrine.

Large Model With Green/Orange Star Pattern: Generous, deep model with a star-shaped fanning pattern. Diameter: 14.5 cm Height: 6 cm. Weight: 511 grams.
Ruby Red Model: Classic model with a deep red transparent base and colorful accents. Diameter: 12 cm Height: 5 cm Weight: 500 grams.
The set is in beautiful vintage condition. The tops, insides, and wavy edges of all three bowls are completely intact and shiny. The glass has retained its original fire shine. Large Multicolor Model (610g): Completely intact, the underside is perfectly and smoothly polished. Large Green/Orange Model (511g): See photos; bottom damaged, including the underside. Ruby Red Model (500g): Beautiful top. Has a historic shell-shaped glass flake/chip on the underside (on the base near the hand-blown pontil mark). This is naturally completely invisible when set down, and the bowl stands stably. All three bowls have light, normal scuff marks/scratches on the bottom consistent with their age of over 70 years (proof of age and authenticity).
