Antique octagonal plate in Kangxi chinoiserie style - gilded with the so-called parsley decor. The plates were made around 1910 by Mosa Maastricht. Marked on the underside with an imitated Kangxi mark.
3 x antique small plate or saucer decorated with the iconic "Lange Lijs" (also known as Long Eliza) decor. This blue and white design is a form of chinoiserie, in which stylized Chinese female figures alternate with floral motifs in a grid pattern. The design is originally inspired by Chinese porcelain from the Kangxi period (early 18th century).
In the Netherlands, this decor became very popular at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, particularly due to production by the Mosa firm from Maastricht (known as Decor 206).
