Exceptional monumental architectural glass panel by Vidrios Gordiola, Mallorca, Spain, circa 1970.
This rare handcrafted piece consists of 35 individually hand-blown amber glass modules mounted within a dark stained wooden structure. The panel features a striking geometric composition of 5 columns by 7 rows, creating a powerful sculptural and luminous presence.
Each glass tile displays the characteristic textured surface and applied circular medallion typical of Gordiola’s artistic production during the 1970s. When backlit or exposed to natural sunlight, the panel produces spectacular warm amber reflections and a highly atmospheric architectural effect.
Originally conceived as an architectural interior element, this piece can function as:
* a monumental room divider,
* illuminated wall panel,
* architectural screen,
* or sculptural decorative installation.
Its strong Mediterranean modernist aesthetic evokes the spirit of Spanish brutalism and high-end interior design from the late modernist period.
An extremely decorative and rare collector’s piece.
