Great iconic brutalist lounge armchair, model The Rock, designed by Gerard van den Berg for Montis, Netherlands 1970. This super comfortable armchair is fully upholstered in the original brown buffalo leather. At the time the most popular model of Montis and still very popular today. The model fits a modern interior, but also a brutalist style.
Good vintage condition. The armchair solid and still completely in its original shape. The buffalo leather is still nice and thick, supple and fairly even in color. Of course traces of use according to age (see photos). Slight wear on the corners of the seat. Beautiful patina as they say. The leather has been cleaned and treated with leather protector.
