Rudolf Wolf "Mogendorf" lounge chair in black skai leather, with its original upholstery and chrome-plated tubular steel frame. A sophisticated example of Dutch modernist design from the 1960s.
Rudolf Wolf was a versatile designer and architect, active in post-war Holland. He worked in various disciplines, from graphic design to industrial and furniture design, and created pieces for manufacturers such as Elsrijk and Rohé. His designs are known for their clean lines, functional construction and thoughtful use of modern materials. The Mogendorf chair embodies these principles: understated, comfortable and architecturally balanced.
