A modular shelving unit with uprights from the 1960s, characterised by an architectural composition in which uprights, shelves and storage units come together in a rigorous and perfectly balanced design. The wooden uprights, intersected by black metal elements, establish the vertical rhythm of the structure while supporting shelves and storage modules in an orderly sequence of solids and voids. The teak veneer, selected for the continuity of its grain, enhances the clean surfaces, while the unit with four grooved drawers introduces a refined point of variation within the composition. The enclosed storage volumes appear to float between the uprights, visually lightening the structure without compromising its solidity.
