This special table (the LP3) was designed by Michel Somers. It features recognizable contemporary materials with a clear distinction between the supporting base and the tabletop. The black powder-coated base is composed of four parts with two sizes of T-profiles, and the tabletop consists of 12mm thick black Betacryl. Betacryl is exceptionally strong.
The dimensions are 360 x 90 cm with a height of 76 cm.
This table is still for sale for 4,000. Handmade in the Netherlands.
Due to a move, it can go for 1,995. Signs of use on the tabletop are fully repairable by lightly sanding the table in a circular pattern.
