This is a work from the series:
MikoArt-Liquid Gloss®-08/surrealistic
In this work, I explore the tension between order and fragmentation, between a stable core and a world that is constantly in motion. To me, the painting feels like a collision of dimensions, a moment in which structure and chaos touch and temporarily come into balance. To the left of the composition stands a faceted, crystal-like form on a pedestal. I see this element as a symbol of essence: something solid, concentrated, and almost timeless. For me, it represents the core of identity, a point of calm in a visually complex environment.
Opposite, on the right side, you see an exploding construction of geometric shapes. These forms seem to detach, fall apart, and simultaneously rearrange themselves. It is a process of breaking down and building up, a visual translation of change, growth, and transformation. The diagonal planes in the background reinforce this sense of movement. They draw the eye in different directions and create a dynamic field of tension. For me, these lines symbolize external influences: stimuli, experiences, and events that constantly shape and challenge us.
The small, floating forms scattered throughout the space function as thoughts or fragments of ideas. They move freely, without a fixed position, and contribute to the feeling that this work takes place in a mental or inner space. Color plays a crucial role here once again. The bright, contrasting hues provide energy and intensity, while the dark, cosmic background adds depth and mystery. The light that seems to emanate from the forms suggests that energy originates from within. Ultimately, this painting is about identity in motion. About how, despite all influences and changes, we retain a core while simultaneously continuing to transform. It invites the viewer to experience that tension and perhaps even recognize it in his or her own reality.
