This is a work from the series:
MikoArt-Liquid Gloss®-06/StreetArtSeries
In this painting, I present a loving, poetic depiction of human evolution, with love as the endpoint and driving force. From left to right, we see a series of silhouettes representing the development of humanity and consciousness: from a bent, primal figure to an upright-walking modern human. The figures are executed in a simple black-and-white, almost like shadows, making them feel timeless and universal. The wet cobblestones at the bottom reflect their forms, as if past and present are touching.
At the end of the evolutionary sequence stands a girl. She forms the emotional highlight of the work. In her hands, she holds a bright pink cotton candy—soft, light, and playful—surrounded by small hearts. This color accent breaks the monochrome row and symbolizes love, desire, and reproduction. Where evolution stops at physical progress, something greater begins here: connection.
The man approaching her is no longer an abstract silhouette, but a human being drawn by love. The cotton candy serves as a metaphor for affection, attraction, and the fragile sweetness of life itself. The girl stands still, open and inviting; she represents the future, new life, and the reason why evolution acquires meaning at all. The painting thus conveys a gentle yet powerful message: humanity evolves not only through strength or intellect, but through love, relationships, and reproduction. Love is not a side issue here, but the ultimate goal of human development.
The blue frame is part of the Epoxy Liquid Gloss and is not a physical wooden frame.
