MikoArt-Giclée-02/FigurativeSeries
In this painting, I present a powerful and expressive eye, depicted as a symbol of perception, consciousness, and inner energy. The eye dominates the composition and seems not only to look, but also to look back at the viewer. The pupil forms a deep, almost black center that radiates both calm and tension. The iris is composed of intense, layered colors – green, blue, yellow, orange, and red – that run spirally around the center. This dynamic gives the eye a lively, almost pulsating appearance, as if it is constantly in motion. The colors are not natural, but emotionally charged, reinforcing the idea of inner vision rather than physical sight.
A geometric grid of color planes surrounds the eye and contrasts with the organic lines of the iris. This interplay of tight forms and fluid movements suggests a tension between order and chaos, reason and intuition. Transparent lines and veil-like structures connect the different layers and give the work depth. The painting functions as a metaphor for consciousness and perception: what do we actually see, and how is that perception influenced by emotion, memory, and inner experience? Here, the eye is not an anatomical detail, but a gateway—a mirror between the outside world and inner reality.
MikoArt-GicléeCanvas
For my Giclée canvas, I use an improved process on the latest generation of Epson printers. For my high-resolution inkjet prints, I use odorless, solvent-free Epson Ultrachrome® RS resin inks. These guaranteed reliable colors of unprecedented quality on my canvas. To achieve this level of quality, I also use SuperResolution, Ultra HD, and automatic image optimization. The matte surface of the canvas creates a vibrant effect, and the new cotton blend for the canvas ensures even more intense color reproduction and a natural look reminiscent of classical painting. The MikoArt Giclée canvas is ready to hang.
The artwork comes with a black shadow gap frame, width 40 mm - depth 30 mm; a metal hanging system is attached to the back of the frame, allowing the artwork to be easily hung immediately.
