In this painting, I present an abstract and intriguing scene of two human figures, who are not depicted literally or explicitly. Their presence is suggested by dark handprints and shadow-like forms that appear to press against a transparent, almost glass-like layer. The composition consists of vertical bands in pink, purple, green, blue, and yellow, reminiscent of water, steam, and light flowing along wet walls. These vertical structures reinforce the sense of isolation and intimacy, as if the space is narrow and enclosed. The surface appears faded and layered, evoking associations with condensation, moisture, and movement.
The hands form the most human element in the work. They seem to seek contact, support, or proximity, yet remain separated by an invisible barrier. This creates a tension between proximity and distance, between physical presence and emotional elusiveness. The painting is not a realistic scene, but a psychological and symbolic image. It evokes themes such as vulnerability, intimacy, privacy, and anonymity. Here, the shower room becomes a transitional space: a room where layers fade, yet where people are simultaneously confronted with themselves and others.

For my Giclée canvas, I use an improved process on the latest generation of Epson printers. For my high-resolution inkjet prints, I use odorless, solvent-free Epson Ultrachrome® RS resin inks. These guarantee reliable colors of unprecedented quality on my canvas. To achieve this level of quality, I also use SuperResolution, UltraHD, and automatic image optimization. The matte surface of the canvas creates a vibrant effect, and the new cotton blend for the canvas ensures even more intense color reproduction and a natural look reminiscent of classical painting. The MikoArt Giclée canvas is ready to hang.
The artwork comes with a black shadow-joint frame, width 40 mm - depth 30 mm; a metal hanging system is attached to the back of the frame, allowing the artwork to be easily hung immediately.
