A rare and striking midcentury vide-poche designed by Jørgen Mogensen for Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. This rectangular stoneware bowl from the 1960s features a brutalist motif of stylised beetles, highlighted with blue accents against a brown speckled glaze.
Stamped with the Royal Copenhagen mark and model number 21871 on the underside, this piece embodies Mogensen’s bold design language and the studio’s dedication to craftsmanship. Both functional and sculptural, it works beautifully as a catch-all, decorative dish, or statement object for a coffee table, sideboard, or shelf.
