A sculptural midcentury ceramic vase by Heyne Keramik in an intense ultramarine Klein blue.
Its rounded form and finely textured matte fat lava glaze give it a bold yet refined presence.
Made in West Germany in the 1960s and signed underneath, this piece shows the strong studio character of the period. The vivid blue glaze is beautifully contrasted by Heyne’s dark red-brown clay visible on the base. Ideal for minimalist, Wabi Sabi, or modern shelf styling, and striking as a standalone accent or with a single stem.
