This vintage Mid-Century wardrobe is a striking example of European furniture design from the 1960s. The piece combines a sleek, functional design with a striking contrast in wood types, characteristic of the aesthetics of that period.
The linen cupboard is crafted from wood with a high-gloss finish, where the dark side panels contrast sharply with the lighter, vertically lined central doors. The interior offers a practical layout featuring a hanging section with a brass-colored rod, various shelves, and an integrated mirror on the inside of one of the doors. The cupboard rests on subtle, tapered legs with brass-colored accents, contributing to the airy character of the design.
The furniture is in a condition befitting its age and previous use. The original high-gloss finish and characteristic details, such as the keys and hardware, have been preserved and contribute to the authentic appearance of the piece.
This wardrobe looks excellent in a bedroom with a vintage or eclectic interior. The pronounced wood contrast and clean lines make it a functional yet decorative element in the room.
Good to know: the slider on the left lock (9th photo) no longer slides back completely when turned; therefore, the hook shown in the 10th photo cannot be closed, otherwise the cabinet door will not open.
