Compact mid-century teak cabinet from the 1960s, in the restrained Northern European style of Belgian and British makers of the period. Two doors with hand-shaped solid teak pulls open onto a shelved interior, hung on a sturdy brass piano hinge. Solid teak base with rounded legs.
Its small footprint makes it a flexible piece for a living room, hallway or office — equally suited as a record cabinet, entryway storage or small sideboard. Warm teak grain that works in both vintage and contemporary interiors.
Condition: good vintage condition. Veneer and frame sound and stable, with light surface wear consistent with age. Some scratches on the interior of the right door, not visible when closed.
