Stunning vintage monoxyle modernist pitcher/vase, deeply inspired by the organic and fluid shapes of French designer Alexandre Noll. This sculptural piece is entirely hand-carved from a single solid block of highly grained hardwood (olive or walnut), featuring beautiful natural knots and a rich patina. An exceptional decorative object for Mid-Century Modern, Minimalist, or Wabi-Sabi interiors.

Condition: Good overall vintage aesthetic condition. As shown in the detailed pictures, there is a natural shrinkage crack running down the back and through the lower handle attachment, which has been partially consolidated in the past. This flaw is typical for aged solid wood and does not compromise its display stability (the front profile remains pristine and flawless).
