A Mid-Century wall or ceiling lamp by the German manufacturer Hillebrand, made of structured Murano glass. The design is characterized by the massive glass shade and the dramatic light pattern it casts on the wall (photo with 2 mirror-head lamps). The thick-walled, smoke-colored glass shade features air inclusions and sits on a brass base. The lamp is designed for two light sources, which together create a warm, radiant ambient light. This piece is a characteristic example of German lighting design from the mid-20th century.
