A beautifully designed Mid-Century folding daybed by Miroslav Navrátil, featuring elegant wooden legs, clean sculptural lines, and vibrant orange upholstery. Designed by Miroslav Navrátil and produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s, this folding daybed is a fine example of Czechoslovak Mid-Century Modern design. Its minimalist wooden frame, tapered legs, and simple folding mechanism reflect the functional elegance for which Navrátil's furniture is well known. Whether used as a sofa or an occasional bed, it offers timeless style and everyday practicality.
Crafted from wood and upholstered fabric, the daybed remains in very good vintage condition. It is structurally sound and showing only light signs of age and use consistent with its vintage character. The folding mechanism operates smoothly, and the upholstery presents well.
