Mid-century, vintage, bamboo and rattan side table, with round tabletop on hairpin, tripod legs, circa 1960's.
This piece, features a classic French design of the period, with characteristic bent rattan, and a beige/wheat colored, linen-textured, vinyl (skaï) table top with rattan trim, resting upon a base of rounded, hairpin, tripod legs made of bamboo, that are a neutral, brown-blonde color, and will blend well in any given mid-century, rustic-contemporary, or other space (see photos.)
Piece is in overall very good, original and vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure, tabletop, edges, legs, feet and under the top (see photos.) Some very minimal signs of previous use on the top (see photos)
Piece is solid and sturdy. It has only been gently cleaned and oiled, with respect to its original patina of time.
Can be used as a side table in a lounge, living room or loft, as a nightstand in a bedroom, a patio or balcony table, or even as a plant table.
