A GFM-87 armchair designed by Juliusz Kędziorek, manufactured at the Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli (GFM), Poland, in the 1960s.
This piece reflects the robust craftsmanship characteristic of the factory’s production, made possible by the use of advanced woodworking machinery at the time.
The frame is constructed from solid beech wood. Distinctive features of the GFM-87 model include its cigar-shaped legs and substantial, precisely crafted armrests.
The seat is upholstered fabric in a white and beige-brown color range finished with a subtle narrow piping along the edge.
The armchair has undergone a full restoration, and the upholstery is a brand-new fabric, The internal seat padding (foam) has been replaced.
