Pair of sculptural mushroom-shaped bookends, handcrafted in Italy from natural alabaster during the 1960s, exemplifying the organic elegance of mid-century design. Each piece is carved from a single block of stone, showcasing refined Italian craftsmanship and the dual-toned beauty of alabaster: soft veined beige for the stem and a rich earthy brown for the cap, accented with natural green and ochre mineral veins.
