Born in 1949 in southwestern France. After studying in Cahors, he moved to Milan, where he met film director Paul Casalini, who introduced him to photography. Thanks to RAI, he began his career.
Divided between his native Midi and Brussels. Michel Pinel produces fashion photos, published in ELLE, MARIE-CLAIRE, FEMMES D'AUJOURD'HUI and BIBA, as well as reports for numerous newspapers. His studio produces prints of outstanding quality.
He devotes himself to what has become his favorite mode of expression: photographs of nudes, architecture, landscapes and portraits, published and exhibited internationally.
His photographs are held in museums and private collections in Australia, Belgium, Spain, France, Great Britain, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Canada, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal and the United States.
