Beautiful set of 4 MG5 cantilever Bauhaus dining chairs in cognac leather designed by Mart Stam and Marcel Breuer for Matteo Grassi, Italy 1960s.
The chairs are defined by their tubular chrome cantilever frames which are shaped with soft curves that form the armrests and give the design a clear architectural rhythm fitting to the Bauhaus design movement. The original and nicely patinated cognac leather seats bring warmth and character to the design. The open construction keeps the silhouette light while offering a comfortable and supportive seating experience.
