An iconic and extremely rare design object from the Space Age era. This "Tyros 2000" chest of drawers was released in 1972 by the innovative Belgian furniture manufacturer Meurop. The piece embodies the futuristic and optimistic design spirit of the early 70s, in which innovative use of plastics and bright pop art colors took center stage.
The cabinet is a visual masterpiece thanks to the sleek, bright orange chassis with its distinctive rounded corners, a typical Space Age style feature.

Condition:
The chest of drawers is in beautiful, structurally sound, and completely original vintage condition. The drawers slide smoothly and the furniture is ready for immediate use. For the sake of complete transparency and in accordance with its vintage status, I would like to mention the following details:
As is common with polystyrene furniture from this period, superficial signs of use and scratches are visible on the synthetic material, consistent with an age of over 50 years.
There is a slight patina/discoloration caused by sunlight, which actually underscores the authentic vintage character of the furniture.
