Beautiful cascade pendant lamp from Lakro Amstelveen.
This Space Age classic has been completely restored: disassembled, cleaned, polished, and fitted with new parts where necessary. The lamp is equipped with new fittings and new wiring.
The design consists of multiple aluminum bowls that flow seamlessly into one another. A ring hangs in the center, visually connecting the whole and enhancing the layered character of the lamp. The crown-like shape is reminiscent of designs by Swedish designer Sigurd Lindkvis (Carl Thore).
The three light sources hang at different heights, creating a playful, spatial effect. The aluminum shades are painted purple on the inside, creating a warm, diffused light effect when switched on.
The cables are adjustable up to a height of over 170 cm from the ceiling.
The lamp is in very good condition and has undergone a thorough refurbishment. Despite this, there are still some minor scratches here and there on the bulbs and ceiling rose, but these are insignificant compared to the overall appearance.
A distinctive piece of Dutch design history that instantly adds character to any interior.
