“Arcobaleno” table lamp designed by Marco Zotta for CIL Roma in 1979.
One of the most recognizable examples of Italian design from the late 1970s, now included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
The structure, made of die-cast aluminium coated in black epoxy resin, creates a continuous and essential silhouette, with an elegant curved line that gives the lamp a sculptural presence even when switched off.
Fully working and in excellent aesthetic condition.
Original two-intensity switch working perfectly.
The lamp still retains its original label on the underside referring to the MoMA design collection.
Only very light signs of age, consistent with time and careful use.
