The statue stood in Pictura, the predecessor of De Trafford in Maastricht, around 1985.
I purchased it from art connoisseur and appraiser J. Vellen (now deceased). He appraised it at 19,000 guilders (appraisal report available). I am offering this statue for sale for 12,000 euros.
Viewing is permitted (Sittard area). The statue dates from around 1900.
