Rare handcrafted sculpture depicting the Trauco, the most famous creature in Chilean mythology.
Material: Genuine natural stone, highly porous and textured to the touch. Despite its compact size, the statue has a substantial weight, typical of hand-crafted stone (not plaster or resin).
Iconography: Classical representation with a pointed hat (quitasol) and a stone axe (pahueldún) carved at the base. It features the inscription "TRAUCO" on the front.
Dimensions: Height 10 cm – ideal for a bookshelf, a desk, or a collection of ethnic objects.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The porosity of the stone captures the light in a unique way, emphasizing the sculpted volumes.
