Product description
Beautiful mahogany English card table with unfolding top. The table stands on a central leg extending to a 'table' supported by four elegant legs, each on the original brass casters. The legs have inlays in a dark wood and at the top extending to a 'scroll' on which a stylized floral design. The top is nicely bordered with a dark wood inlay. The top rests on a plinth that, when turned quarter turn, clears an open drawer in which to place cards or other games. When the top is unfolded, you get a perfectly square table. The inside is finished with a dark green felt. Very nice condition and perfectly matching tops ca 1830-50
