Dimensions (approx) : height 19 cm ; diameter 20 cm
Large globular porcelain Arita ware vase with a flared body. The vase has a dynamic decoration of blue, red and gold glaze streaks in relief. Signed at the bottom by the artist the famous ceramic maker Yasuaki Maeda (b. 1937), one of the leading artists in the modern revival of Arita porcelain.
Including original sealed and signed wooden transport box (tomobako).
