A genuine WéBé dining table with a tilting leaf, designed by Louis van Teeffelen.
This Milan model was and is a high-end table of very fine quality. By 'tilting' the extension leaf, a table is created with a length of over 1.70 meters, suitable for seating 6 people. Conversely, when folded, the table does not take up too much space.
The tabletop features a characterful patina, with no deep scratches or rings, and a beautiful deep color, entirely fitting its age and intended use. Slight color variations between light and dark are visible, but this only adds to its distinctive appearance.
Already provided with a virtually invisible semi-matte coating that will protect the table against grease, dirt, and moisture, the table is therefore ready for immediate daily use.
The model is very finely constructed and a very successful design that appears elegant, yet somewhat robust. A timelessly beautiful model, crafted from solid afromosia teak and fine veneer parts, ready to last for decades to come.
