The iconic Panthella floor lamp, designed by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen, is one of the most recognizable designs of the 1970s and a beautiful example of Scandinavian design in which form, function, and light come together in a unique way.
This version is an early edition of the Panthella floor lamp and features an elegant combination of a cream base with a white shade. The soft color combination gives the lamp a warm and refined appearance, while the organic forms emphasize Verner Panton's characteristic design.
The Panthella is designed as a sculptural lighting object, where not only the light source but also the lamp itself forms part of the lighting effect. The hemispherical shade ensures a pleasant, diffuse distribution of light, while the flowing base gives the design a harmonious and almost architectural look.
Thanks to its timeless silhouette and subtle color scheme, this vintage design floor lamp fits effortlessly into various interior styles, from modern and minimalist to vintage and eclectic. This lamp is in good vintage condition, appropriate for its age. There is damage under the shade at the attachment points where the shade rests on the base. We have repaired this damage, and it does not affect the use or appearance of the lamp. However, it is slightly more fragile as a result compared to a variant without this damage.
