Lot of 6 original Louis Poulsen Unispot Storebror Spot lights – Bent Gantzel-Boysen – Denmark – 1970s.
Batch of 6 original large Louis Poulsen Unispot lamps, designed by Bent Gantzel-Boysen and produced in Denmark in the 1970s.
This is the large version of the Unispot, also known as Storebror / Big Brother, with the characteristic orange/red-orange housing and aluminum construction.
All lamps bear the original Unispot / Made in Denmark label. 220 Volt – max. 100 Watt – no. 48526.
The photos were taken with an iPhone without flash. The photos are not edited and show the lamps as they are.
Composition of the lot:
• 6 original Unispot fixtures
• 5 units have the long aluminum arm (120cm)
• 1 unit is missing the electrical wiring; suitable upholstered/vintage wire (2m) will be supplied for this
• 3 units are missing the mounting foot/base
• the other parts are present as visible in the photos
The lamps are vintage and show normal signs of use and age, appropriate for their age. There are, among other things, signs of use and patina on the metal parts. See the photos as part of the description.
The electrical operation has not been tested for all units; the buyer should take into account checking/replacing any electrical components.
For sale exclusively as one lot of 6 pieces.
Collection in Belgium is strongly preferred. Given the number of lamps and the fragility of the fixtures, personal collection is ideal. Transport to the Netherlands or France can possibly be arranged in consultation with the buyer.
