Perry Oliver - Vinculo tejado1999Lithograph edited and printed by Poligrafa, Barcelona Signed and numbered 25077x57Perry Oliver was born on November 1, 1941 in Pennsylvania, USA. From 1960 to 1967 he was a partner in the architectural design firm of Oliver Wright Associates, College Park, Maryland. In 1968 he moved to Spain and soon found a new home in Nerja (Málaga). In 1970, a close friend introduced him to printmaking, which he developed (self-taught) in his studio in that village on the Mediterranean. In the following years he traveled to Spain, Morocco, France, Great Britain, Holland, Germany and the United States. In 1986 he bought an old house and land in Frigiliana. During this period of the 80's, new personal and professional relationships developed in Malaga, Andalusia and Denmark. Jenny Bouchat and Oliver got married in Gibraltar (1988). In 1999, he became passionate about sculpture and set up his studio at the Frigiliana farmhouse.
