Léonie Mottart-van Marcke (1862–1936) was a Belgian artist, primarily active as a painter and engraver in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She was an important figure in the Walloon art history of her time.
She belonged to the well-known Liège family of artists Van Marcke. She was the daughter of the painter Édouard van Marcke and a niece of the famous landscape painter Émile van Marcke. In 1888, she married the engineer and industrialist Armand Mottart.
Mottart-van Marcke was known for her detailed depictions of architecture, landscapes, and floral scenes. Her work is included in various Belgian collections and she is mentioned in the Bénézit, a standard reference work for the visual arts. There is also a well-known photographic portrait of her, taken by the Liège photographer Léonard-Hubert Zeyen around the turn of the century.
