A rare and fully original Leolux Bora Bora two-seater sofa with matching hocker, designed by Axel Enthoven and produced in the Netherlands by Leolux in the late 1980s / early 1990s.
This sculptural design stands out through its iconic postmodern zebra-style graphic upholstery, combined with a flowing Seafoam (Aqua) green full-grain leather shell. The bold, wave-like zebra pattern is a hallmark of Leolux’s most expressive design period and clearly reflects the Memphis movement influence that defined European interiors of the time.
The Bora Bora series is considered one of Leolux’s most collectible postmodern designs, and finding an example that retains its original zebra jacquard upholstery, matching hocker, and original factory documentation is increasingly rare.
Condition
Very good vintage condition.
The leather has been cleaned and treated with nourishing balm.
Original zebra upholstery is well preserved with only light, age-appropriate signs of use.
