This glass pudding mold is a design by A.D. Copier for the renowned Dutch glass factory Leerdam. The object combines a functional design with a refined, organic relief characteristic of the early twentieth-century utensils in the Leerdam collection.
Crafted from clear pressed glass, the mold features a detailed leaf motif at the top and a sleek, ribbed rim at the base. The material has the unique property of emitting a striking, fluorescent green glow under UV light, indicating the presence of uranium in the glass composition. The mold measures approximately 15 centimeters in length and about 10 centimeters in width.
The object is in good condition commensurate with its age and previous use. The glass has retained its original clarity and the relief remains sharply defined.
