Beautiful “Le Bambole” lounge chair with ottoman in grey bouclé, designed by Mario Bellini and produced by B&B Italia in the 1970s.
The design is celebrated for its soft, inviting shape and exceptional comfort. Bellini achieved this look through an innovative construction method that gave the sofa its distinctive, cushion-like appearance without the need for a rigid frame.
“Le Bambole” represents one of the most important icons of 20th-century Italian design. The collection received the Compasso d’Oro award in 1979, and an example is part of the MoMA permanent collection.
